Grabbing food at a fast food restaurant shouldn’t be a life-threatening decision. When drivers aren’t driving in a safe manner, it is possible that almost any decision you make might prove to be the last decision you make in your natural life. One teenager recently lost his life when a driver came barrelling into the Arby’s where the man had just gotten his food.

The 19-year-old man was standing near the condiment counter with a minor relative when he was killed by the truck. That child was also injured in the accident, but the injuries weren’t thought to be severe.

The truck that struck the teen had the logo of Chillicothe general contracting company d.e. Huddleston on the door panel. Police officers have noted that they are still investigating the cause of the crash. They are looking into the speed of the truck, the medical condition of the driver, and a variety of other factors that might have contributed to the crash.

Arby’s has issued a statement of sadness and condolences since the fatal crash. The restaurant’s representatives are cooperating with investigators. The entire eatery and parking lot were roped off with police tape after the fatal accident.

The trauma that this family is likely facing is heart wrenching. They lost a young man who was just trying to get something to eat. They now have to make his final arrangements during this holiday season.

If you have lost a loved one in a fatal accident, you might opt to explore your right to seek compensation through the civil court system.
